About SparkClean
SparkClean is a Mac utility offered by Silverstone Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). If you have a question about these terms, email info@silverstonelabs.in.
License and permitted use
The SparkClean software is distributed under the GNU General Public License version 3. The GPL grants recipients rights to run, study, modify, and redistribute covered software, subject to its terms. A purchase supports distribution and related services; it does not take away rights granted by the GPL. See our open-source license and source code page for the license text, source, and notices.
The website, trademarks, and services are separate from rights in GPL-covered software. You are responsible for your use of SparkClean and for maintaining backups of your Mac and important data. Review proposed cleanup actions before confirming them. SparkClean is a utility, not a substitute for your own judgment or a backup strategy.
Orders, payment, and delivery
Checkout, payment, order confirmation, and license delivery are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as Merchant of Record. The applicable checkout information and Dodo terms govern the transaction, including taxes, payment methods, and any cancellation or refund rights. After a successful purchase, your license is delivered by email to the address you provide during checkout. The optional purchase activation service may require an internet connection and may be suspended to address fraud or security issues. This does not limit your GPL rights to use, modify, or redistribute the covered software, including independently built versions that do not use the activation service.
Updates and availability
The purchase includes access to future SparkClean updates made available for the product, subject to technical compatibility and applicable law. We may change, improve, or discontinue website or application features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Ownership
Silverstone Labs owns its website, SparkClean brand, and original materials to the extent permitted by law. Third-party and GPL-covered components remain subject to their applicable licenses. Nothing in these terms limits rights granted by those licenses.
Warranty and liability
SparkClean is provided subject to the warranties and remedies required by applicable law. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or SparkClean. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, a warranty, or a consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The revised version applies from its stated update date, subject to applicable law. These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the transaction and your use of SparkClean, and do not take away any mandatory protections available to you in your place of residence.
